Human Resources
The
Oklahoma School for the Deaf, Human Resources Office, is
responsible for inputting time/leave for payroll processing,
insurance enrollment/changes, job announcements, and worker's
compensation claims.

Coordinates/ensures all staff receive required safety
training. Assist with Fire/Tornado drills and inspection of
fire extinguishers.

Serves
as OSD's Risk Manager and Grievance Manager.

Answers
questions from Staff concerning payroll, insurance, retirement,
grievance procedure, etc.

Maintains employee personnel/insurance records.

Disburses DRS Policy and Procedure changes to Staff.

Prepares
recommendations/requests for Job Family/Salary changes.

Prepares
information for recruiting announcements concerning job
vacancies; evaluates application forms, schedules interviews;
provides job counseling to prospective employees.

Processes New Hire paperwork.
